Keeping the cost of services as low as possible is one of the success axioms
of the Austrian MES provider Industrie Informatik. With its new customizing
tool cronetwork rapid prototyping, the company introduced its final stage of
systematic development in the field of support for the introduction and
documentation of standard software.
For years, Industrie Informatik has been consistently following a service
provider strategy that is diametrically opposite the practice in its field. "We
seek to make our customers autonomous as quickly as possible," explains CEO
Herbert Parnreiter regarding the guiding theme of the concept. "Rapid software
introduction and a minimum of required support during operation help both the
customer (who enjoys significantly lower service costs that are easier to
calculate) and our company, because we free our capacity for new
projects."
The new rapid prototyping functionality of cronetwork despite highly complex
process flows and specific business processes in the production context
enables extremely fast and thus economical and efficient software
introduction.
What is unique about cronetwork rapid prototyping is its graphical and
intuitive interface to the numerous business processes and process flows of the
MES suite. cronetwork rapid prototyping lets the IIG consultant surf with the
customer through the range of solutions in MES, as depicted by numerous
graphical models.
As a particular highlight, in the course of rapid prototyping, a real model
of the production ensues from the plant view in the factory halls down to the
machine.
