Who
we are

Industrie Informatik is an internationally successful software enterprise that develops and markets solutions for production optimization for industrial enterprises. The company was founded in 1991 and is now active in more than 20 nations worldwide. Many familiar products found today in nearly every household and in every motor vehicle are produced efficiently with our software. Our customers are renowned companies such as Stiebel Eltron, Schott, Miba, Flowserve and Flextronics.

A staff of over 60 daily tends to our customers. We currently have three locations: Linz (headquarters of Industrie Informatik, Austria), Riegel bei Freiburg (Germany) and Shanghai (China). We also enjoy the perfect mixture of young, new staffers and proven veterans: the average age of our staff is 35. One third of our team are women. A quarter of our staff members have been on board for more than a decade.

In your work you will gain insight into different production enterprises and processes, corporate cultures, branches, etc. You have contact with diverse project staff members such as CEOs, production managers, IT managers, personnel managers and quality managers. Flexible working times
Within our flexitime, you can determine your own working time. Especially for our young mothers, we offer high flexibility. Many of our staff members could re-enter their jobs easily after child care leave.

Education and in-service training
We facilitate job entry with individually tuned trainee programs. We also provide a mentor for every new employee. The information sources in our documentation wiki and numerous training videos are also always at your disposal.

We offer comprehensive internal opportunities for in-service training to enhance your career from development to consulting to product management or sales. Many of our staff members came to us directly from secondary school, technical college or university and quickly enhanced their personal and professional development. Additionally, depending on the job description, various external in-service training is available in areas such as ERP systems, project management and foreign language.

Staff events
We believe in celebrating success! Management regularly invites the entire staff to company excursions, summer festivals and Christmas parties. The fun continues at sporting events such as the Linz Business Run, department excursions and various spontaneous meetings.

Naturally our Linz headquarters provides handicapped access as well as a large, free employee parking lot and excellent connections directly at an autobahn exit, public transportation nearby (tram 300 m, Linz main station four stops away). To promote flexible working, depending on the job description, we provide a company auto and a business mobile phone.

Food for the nerves: The Linz headquarters furnishes a coffee machine and a well-equipped kitchen. Every morning a baker delivers fresh wares and small snacks, and other places to shop are nearby. Likewise shared lunchtime is possible either in the in-house cafeteria or in one of the restaurants in the vicinity. Pizza and sushi delivery services also know where to find us.

Various retail businesses, fitness studios, etc. offer discounts for Industrie Informatik employees.
