Exciting customer projects and plenty of prospects for MES provider Industrie Informatik

The German automotive supplier Mubea was able to produce scrap-free for a total of 48 days at its site in China – not least thanks to the production-optimising MES software cronetwork.

Reason enough for the CEO of the Austrian software company Industrie Informatik, Markus Zalud, to pay a visit to the plant. But that is by no means the only reason for his visit to the Far East!

Industrie Informatik officially opened a location in Shanghai more than 10 years ago. The original idea of supporting existing European customers with their local expansion has now given way to an ambitious growth strategy and the Chinese location is also developing into an engine of success for the Austrian software company.

“We have built up a strong sales and consulting team around our General Manager Paul Jin. Thanks to his studies in Germany, Paul knows the Central European culture and is an important bridge builder for our success in the Far East,” says Markus Zalud about the positive developments and the acquisition of new customers in China in the meantime.

The programme of his trip also included a visit to and support for the Industry Future Fit Conference in Kunshan initiated by the VDMA, where the company is also involved as a founding member of a start-up factory and strengthens the local economy. The wbk Institute for Production Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology was also visited, which has a close partnership with Industrie Informatik in the areas of research, talent development and local business development!
