Industrie Informatik Innovation Days 2022

09.08.2022

After report & impressions

Nearly 200 participants accepted our invitation to the Industrie Informatik Innovation Days at the end of June! Customers, partners, interested parties and employees from the entire DACH region came together in the unique Jochen Schweizer Arena in Taufkirchen near Munich and spent two informative, relaxed and also action-packed days with us. Highlight besides a special social program was the announcement of the new “Solution Store“, an online platform for digital manufacturing modules!

Let’s start the rotors

A motto that could not have fit better! On the one hand, in analogy to the event location, which is designed in the shape of a rotor and in which we were able to experience adrenaline-filled and unique moments during bodyflying in the wind tunnel! And on the other hand, because in view of the new Solution Store and the digital manufacturing solutions expected with it, we can rightly hold out the prospect of new flying heights for our users in their Smart Factory!

But one after the other:

Take-off in the wind tunnel

Already on the eve of the event, we invited to a get-together with a cozy BBQ and the already mentioned bodyflying in the exclusively provided wind tunnel. With up to 180 km/h wind speed, our guests could take off here and experience the feeling of weightlessness for a few minutes. An experience, which was commented by the participants on leaving the channel throughout only with a broad grin. The foundation stone for a further successful event was thus laid!

Future-proof technologies and Bobby Cars

Flexibility and adaptability are important, if not crucial, skills in dynamic times like these. In our presentation program, we focused on precisely these topics and provided a picture of how we are facing the associated challenges.

For example, CTO Bernhard Falkner and company founder Thomas Krainz, who is responsible for strategic product development, provided an insight into how we accompany our customers on the way to their individual smart factory by means of up-to-date and future-proof technologies, services and performances. No less exciting was the first round of technical presentations, which dealt with the topics of SAP & cronetwork MES in interaction, new services by Industrie Informatik and the fully integrated shopfloor as a future strategy. For the latter, we got reinforcement from Linhardt GmbH & Co. KG, represented by Robert Brückner, who is responsible for IT and digitalization at the tube manufacturer.

Before the lunch break, the successful interaction of the standard software cronetwork MES with comprehensive individualization options was presented to the guests in a keynote of a somewhat different kind using the concrete example of a children’s toy vehicle. Predicate: worth seeing!

Technical input and a look into the future

The second part of the day was no less interesting, starting with an exciting success story with deep insights into practice. Patrick Rauer, Project Manager at the Voith Group, and Peter Velten from the industrial IT partner soffico GmbH, reported on cronetwork MES in large-scale use at Voith!

The second keynote of the day was the presentation of our new “Solution Store”, which was probably the highlight of the Innovation Days in terms of content.

The topic of detailed planning was followed by a look at “today” and “tomorrow” and the question of whether AI can be seen as a panacea. Further specialist presentations on the topics of personnel and materials management on the store floor rounded off the technical day.

In the final panel discussion, chaired by CCO Bernd Steinbrenner, Christoph HERR from VDMA, Dr. Markus Flik, Managing Director at Flik GmbH, Chairman of the Advisory Board at ASCon Systems and member of the Advisory Board at BBS Automation, and Eckhard Winter, representing Industrie Informatik, took a look at the future of digital manufacturing!

Our goal is to achieve fast and sustainable success for our customers, because individualization according to standards is essential if you want to move towards the Smart Factory efficiently and promptly!

Bernd Steinbrenner, Chief Commercial Officer

Strong customers and partners on board

The final touch was given by the participation of our strong customers and reliable technology partners. Patrick Rauer (Voith Group) and Robert Brückner (Linhardt) reported authentically and honestly about the use of cronetwork MES and cronetworld in their companies. Once again, we would like to thank them for their support!

A thank you we would also like to extend to our partners on site! Together with soffico GmbH and “Orchestra”, we are implementing open, digital manufacturing environments entirely in the sense of a Smart Factory. The challenges that SIB Visions faces every day with its low-code platform VisionX are also exciting! Here, the focus is clearly on the fast and uncomplicated realization of digital manufacturing solutions and thus on high flexibility and competitiveness.
