Solution Store: shop online for customised, digital manufacturing modules

Rapid project success in the implementation of MES functions

MES solutions are the central hub of networked manufacturing and will continue to form the stable basis for handling digital production processes in the future.

For industrial companies, the challenge now is to get the most out of their own production with flexible and customised software solutions – and this in the area of conflict between rapidly changing technological possibilities, a shortage of skilled workers and individual processes that have to be adapted to smart factory efforts in an agile manner.

Digital manufacturing components in the Solution Store

Industrie Informatik has succeeded in mastering the balancing act between highly functional, parameterisable standard software, state-of-the-art communication technologies and individually reusable and release-safe solutions.

What we know from the smartphone has now also found its way into the smart factory: MES users can now select suitable solutions from a portfolio of digital manufacturing modules and install them directly in cronetwork MES or the cronetworld manufacturing platform. This means that the functionalities of the modules for detailed production planning, machine dataplant data and shop floor managementtraceability and time & attendance can be expanded at the touch of a button.

The Industrie Informatik Solution Store is an online platform for customers in which best-practice solutions, templates, documentation and components are made available centrally. The clou here is that the so-called solutions are developed by Industrie Informatik, extensively tested and ready for immediate use. Despite the extensive customisation options within the solutions, they find their way into the standard release cycle of the manufacturing software.

The goal is to ensure quick and sustainable success for our customers and interested parties, because customisation according to standards is essential if you want to follow the path to the Smart Factory in a cost-efficient and timely manner.

Digitalization boost on the shop floor

The further development of the digitalisation of the shop floor is gaining unprecedented momentum: without lengthy requirements definitions, complex installations or lengthy testing, the functionalities of cronetwork MES and the cronetworld manufacturing platform can be raised to a new level of efficiency at any time at the push of a button. The prefabricated solutions can also be individually adapted to their intended use by means of parameter configuration and innovative basic technologies (no-code, low-code) and still offer the usual stability and release capability. Or to put it more simply: classically hard-programmed masks are supplemented or replaced by customisable portlets or portal solutions.

The constantly growing, homogeneous range of the Solution Store creates new basic conditions for the identification of digital solution approaches and makes it even easier to move forward step by step with customised standard solutions in digitalisation.

More application diversity

For example, users can take individual components from shift reports, personnel planning and capacity diagrams from detailed planning and combine them into a cross-system overall process or visualise comprehensive information about the current processes on the shop floor. The employee portal, for example, also offers a wide range of possibilities for creating a customised solution for processing employee and management self-service functions.

A new way of finding solutions, individualisation and independent, fast implementation is thus finding its way into everyday work on the shop floor. Best practice solutions, into which decades of MES expertise and know-how from countless digitalisation projects have flowed, are available to both new and existing customers for dynamic and fast (and, of course, independent) projects. This approach also guarantees the steady replenishment of the store in the months and years to come.
